sliding scale
We really don't want our pricing to be vague or hard to comprehend, and we honestly find it troubling that so many services out there aren't transparent about their pricing.
Sliding Scale: we are aware that these prices and plans are not inexpensive: we pour our hearts, spirits, and brains into this work, and take it extremely seriously. And, we genuinely want to be available to folks from a diverse range of economic means! Please get in touch with us to discuss the potential for sliding scale arrangements, as well as barter/trade possibilities.
Full Price - $500 per month for packages, $300 an hour for legal services
This is the price we ask you to pay if you are financially secure. Please click through to packages, and legal services, for additional information in those areas.
Who is this pricing for? If, during a given month, you are not worried about the things you need in your life, and can spend on wants, you have economic privilege and power, and are financially secure.
If you have savings, own property, carry a low amount of recurring debt, and have a job, please pay full price. Paying full price allows us to offer sliding scale to others.
We have thought a lot about how to price our services, given the amount of time and effort we put into each session (before, during, and after) as well as our background, years of experience, and training. We truly want to have a fair and equitable exchange, and to be in line with our peers who are also trying to serve community and make a living.
Sliding Scale
We want to be available to everyone. Through a sliding scale, we recognize that that some can not afford these services, and that the true cost prevents them from accessing these unique and powerful experiences.
If you struggle with affording rent, insurance, food, family care, or are living paycheck to paycheck, it's ok. Our services are still for you. It our my intent in offering a suggested price to provide access.
A bit more about Sliding Scale:
When you purchase a price at the lowest end of the scale when you can truthfully afford the higher ticket prices, you are limiting access to those who truly need the gift of financial flexibility.
Being honest with yourself and your financial situation when engaging with sliding scale practices grows strong and sustainable communities. It also respects our relationship as Provider / Client and our relationship within our community.
Again, it is our intent in offering a suggested price to provide access. When the lower tier is still prohibitive, let us know and we will work with you to figure it out.
Thank you!
Deep appreciation to the entire sliding scale community for their work on this, especially Alexis J Cunningfolk's work on the Green Bottle Model
Capacity
Because we are a small, boutique operation, primarily staffed by two people, we have the responsibility of being selective when choosing our clients. We want to ensure we have regular availability for our regular clients, as well as newer folks, and provide personal, individual, outstanding services. We hope you won't take it personally if we have to say, "sorry, but we're at capacity right now" for a given service or area.
